Adaptation Program

The beginning of a new school year is a perfect opportunity to embark on a new adventure of joyful learning and inspiration.

'Adaptation Program' was organized for the newest and the youngest batch of K.R.Mangalam World School. The main aim behind the program was to familiarize the little ones with their new school and their teachers. The young Pre Schoolers attended the program for five consecutive days, which enabled them to adjust to the new environment.
The ‘Adaptation program’ started from Tuesday, March 16,2010 and ended on Saturday, March 20, 2010. Each day was theme based, for example the first day was pink and blue day. The classes were done up in pink and blue colors, the students also came dressed in the same colored clothes. They also made pink and blue  macroni  wrist bands. The theme for the  second day was hygiene. The kids carried personal hygiene things like a tooth brush, comb etc and their teachers discussed the use and the importance of the same. Next day was nature walk and the dress code was floral. The kids collected different leaves and learned to make a card using the leaves. The theme of  the fourth day was healthy and junk food. The little ones made chef caps and also tried their hands at making corn charts and the dress code for the day was black and white. On the last day it was a bonanza for the freshers, as they were taken to an outing to Pizza Hut.
On all the five days, the kids were involved in various interesting and exciting activities. They thoroughly enjoyed their dance session with the dance teacher, learning to groove to the foot tapping music. They did vegetable printing with different colors in the art class. It was a sight to see the young artists at work. The icing on the cake was the magic show organized for the kids.  The children were served healthy and delicious meals on all the days

The Adaptation program ended on a positive note as it was not only successful but also enriching for the kids as well as the teachers.
