“Aviram Tarang”: a festival of dance, music, colour, drama - an endeavour to recognize, encourage and nurture talent was successfully hosted over two days on 21 and 22 July,2011 by K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K. II.
The Chief Guest , Ms. Nupur Awasthi Gaur addressed the competing school children with highly motivating words.
26 schools from Delhi and the NCR participated with great enthusiasm in the fiesta and over 800 students showcased their talent. The Talent Fiesta was unique as it encompassed a plethora of events ranging from Fancy Dress , Music Melody, Hasya Kavita, Tech Painters, Splash Of Colours, Jhankaar and English Declamation. These events provided a platform to students from Pre school To Class V to exhibit not only their talent but also their creativity. At a glittering Valedictory ceremony ,the winners were felicitated by the Principal, Mrs Renu Jain , Primary Incharge , Mrs Suhani Daur and the Academic Co ordinator , Mrs Renu Bhambhri with Trophies and Certificates.
THE PROUD WINNERS WERE:
K R Mangalam World school , Gurgaon bagged the First position in the Fancy Dress Competition in the Pre Primary category and DPS East of Kailash was the proud winner of Splash of Colours and K R Mangalam World school , Vikaspuri was awarded the first prize in the event- HASYA KAVITA .
The singers from St. Paul’s School , Hauz Khas swept away the first position with their mesmerizing performance in MUSIC MELODY.
TECH PAINTERS saw a clash of titans where the winners were St.George’s,Alaknanda.
A spectacular dance performance by DPS Vasant Kunj won them the winning positionin Jhankar.
Birla Vidya Niketan proved its mettle when it won the English Declamation Contest .
Although there was cut throat competition , Birla Vidya Niketan emerged victorious and were awarded the Winning trophy.
The talent Fiesta was a resounding success this year too and the key behind it was the dedicated effort of the team at KRM, who worked with great zeal and enthusiasm under the able guidance of their Principal ,
Ms Renu Jain.
