Science Week Report

                                  Science Week 2011-2012
                                  ( Friday, 29 JULY 2011)
‘ANIMAL KINGDOM’ ACTIVITY CONDUCTED IN CLASS IV

As part of the science week, each section of class IV was allotted a sub-topic such as – terrestrial animals, aquatic animals, aerial animals, amphibians, arboreal animals and animals who camouflage.
Every student was provided a sheet (A-4) and colouring material and was asked to draw one animal
of their choice (according to their sub-topic given ) and write two characteristic features beneath it.
Everyone conducted the activity with great zeal in the subject period itself, under the supervision
of science teachers. At the end of the activity, the science teacher of each section of class IV took

out three winners from each section to motivate the students and raise their confidence.
