Each year on 7th April, the world celebrates 'World Health Day’. This day marks several events, which are held to lay stress on importance of health for productive and happy lives. To commemorate the World Health Day, K.R. Mangalam World School hosted a number of activities. The World Health Day was observed with a great zeal to raise awareness at mass level.

NURSERY 
The Pre-Schoolers were shown and demonstrated the things which are used for taking care of health and cleaning our body parts like- nail cutter, brush, comb, soap, napkins, sanitizers, shampoos etc. in the class. They also enjoyed doing block printing on plain white handkerchiefs which they carried back home. They learned the importance of keeping themselves clean, which is a gateway to a healthy life.

The students brought empty wrappers and covers of soaps, dettol, toothpaste etc and spoke a few lines on the same. Later they made a collage of all the items associated with hygiene. CLASS- I The enthusiastic batch of Class I came dressed as ‘Hygiene Products’ and spoke a few lines on the product and its importance. One got to see a speaking soap, a talkative toothpaste and a dancing dettol. Indeed an interesting way to celebrate the Health Day. CLASS II The students got wrappers and pictures of personal hygiene products and stuck them on their drawing sheets. Beautiful quotations were written and messages were displayed. It was indeed an enriching experience for the students. CLASS III The students of class III carried out a drawing activity on the topic cleanliness and personal hygiene. They also participated in a cleanliness drive in which they cleaned their classrooms. CLASS IV Class IV celebrated the World Health Day with the objective of spreading the need and importance of healthy living. The students participated in ‘Slogan Writing’ and wrote catchy and meaningful slogans. CLASS V The students of Class V enthusiastically participated in an activity in which they beautifully penned down different slogans emphasising upon the importance of hygiene in everyday routine. This was followed by a cleanliness drive by the students in the school corridors, tennis court and basket ball court.
