Class Assembly, X C and VIII A
The combined assembly had to be a tribute to the late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, whom the country had lost so suddenly that the young generation of India was actually at a loss. The best way to pay a tribute seemed to be in the form of talents that are possessed within the students.
The assembly began with remembering the almighty and thanking the goddess of knowledge and enlightenment for constantly showering her blessings over the students of K. R. Mangalam World School, G. K.II. This was followed by the current affairs.
A lyrical tribute was presented by Rahul Kanungo through a self-composed poem taking everyone into a journey of the life of this true patriot.
It was time for the dancers to present the rise of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam from his humble beginnings to the responsible President of India, depicting the stages of his life in the form of stages of a bird opening its wings, rising and flying.
Aditya of Class VIII A recited a heart rendering poem written by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam which expressed his respect and duty for his motherland.
The assembly culminated with a patriotic song by the singers of Class VIII A, ‘Ae mere watan ke logon’, reminding us all of the sacrifices made by the brave hearts at the borders as they give up their today for our safe tomorrow.
