Independence Day Celebrations
With the advent of the month of August, all of us are filled with a zeal and enthusiasm to express the feeling of unity and secularism as we participate in the celebrations for our country. To this effect, the students and teachers of the four sections of class V,of K.R.Mangalam World School,G.K.II worked with great zeal and presented before the Principal, Vice Principal, Primary Incharge, the parents of class V and the entire school from class III upwards, a wonderful and unique dramatisation of the struggle for Independence of India from the British. The dramatization encompassed a vibrant display of events from 1857 , interspersed with music and patriotic songs, sung melodiously by the children of Class V. The presentation was truly enthralling as our young children displayed their talents. The acting was stupendous and their speaking skills were highlighted beautifully. The ‘Grand Finale’ included a patriotic song and a dance sequence. It ended with the National Anthem. It was a rich learning experience for the students of class V who cherished the value of freedom and patriotism.
