The Hindi Recitation Competition of class II was held on Monday, 25th January, 2010.
As we all know, poetry is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of the poetry; the children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The children were given Patriotism as the theme and they recited poems with lot of confidence and talent. The judges applauded the performance of the participants and the children also enjoyed the competition.

| On 2 December 2009, children of class 1 participated with a lot of enthusiasm for the fancy dress competition. The children came dressed as Penguins, cows, lions , peacock and other host of animals. They spoke about the animal they were representing in terms of their habitat and characteristics. It was an interesting event to judge, with the participants giving each one a cut-throat competition. |

‘Chef of the Day’ Competition
Class – II
To check the culinary skills of our little chefs, a competition “Cooking without fire” was held on 4th December, 2009 where each competitor fabricated and prepared a flavorsome and captivating dish which was judged on the base of the nutritional values, taste and the presentation. The whole arena and the surrounding was entertaining and almost hypnotizing as these young ones prepared some finger licking dishes like open sandwiches, strawberry ladoos, Russian salad and much more….

CARD MAKING COMPETITION
Categorizing different methods of paintings and colouring, Class II organized the card making competition on 24th December, 2009.Juggling various hues of colors, the children displayed beautiful masterpieces on the theme of Christmas and New Year.

CANDLE MAKING COMPETITION
Class I organized the candle making competition on 24th December, 2009.The students used ribbons, glitters, mirrors to decorate their candles. They made beautiful candles and gave each other a tough competition. The creativity of each child shone brightly just like the candles!!

FANCY DRESS COMPETITION HELD ON 21 DEC 2009
The school organized science week ‘ANVESHAN’ from the 21st to 24thDec.Various activities were conducted in all the classes.
Classes III and 1V organized a fancy dress in which class III students became members of the solar system like earth, moon, sun or parts of the body.Class 1V students dressed up as eminent personalities in the field of science such as Dr. Bernard, Einstein, Marie Curie etc. DrKataria an eminent dentist graced the occasion as the chief guest.
