Janmashtmi Celebrations
The children of class I presented a special assembly on Janmashtami on Tuesday,11thAugust,2009.
Krishnashtami was celebrated with gaiety which began with lighting of ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest- Mr.Ajay Kashyap, JCP, Southern Range.
Students of the Class I donned the roles of Lord Sri Krishna, Kansa and gopikas amongst many other characters related to Gokulashtami.
They won the heart of the audience by enacting various roles of Sri Krishna from childhood as Nathkhat Bansi, Makhan Chor and speaking chaste Hindi dialogues .
Dressed in the attire of Krishna and gopikas, they spread the message of ancient Puranas and our traditions. This event brought awareness among the children about traditional customs while enjoying the pranks of Lord Krishna.
Fun and frolic marked the presentation. The children worked very hard for weeks under guidance of their teachers. Tiny tots captivated the audience which comprised of parents, grandparents and little ones with their scintillating performances.
