8th Delhi Open Students Chess Tournment
K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II participated in 8th Delhi Open Students Chess Tournament held from 4th – 6th December ,2009.The event was conducted in 3 categories ( U-9, 12 & 17) and our students won the top 3 prizes in all the 3 categories.
Rishi Sardana of VI C came First in U-17 event which had 11 International rated players and 22 other strong players.
Jaideep singh of IV F came Second in U-9 category which had total 53 good players.
Tanay Sharma of VI B came Third in U-12 Category which also had 36 tough players.
We also won the Inter- School event and the top 5 positions are as follows:

- Amity International Pushp Vihar
- Amity International, Noida
- Sanskriti School
- Modern School, Vasant Vihar
This is again one of the best performances of our students. I am sure our students will bring more and more laurels to school under your guidance and support.
