Relaxation, no school and seemingly endless free time are all parts of vacations that make them so great. Summer Vacations give children the perfect amount of rest and relaxation to start up school again feeling refreshed and ready to take on the challenges of life. At K.R. Mangalam, it is our sincere efforts to strike a balance between work and rejuvenation to find latent talent in the students.
Holidays Homework provide a platform to children to remain connected with school and retain their skills. Though vacations are an escape from all the hard work and excitement of normal school life, they allow us to spend some time relaxing and enjoying social aspects of life.
Reading is a skill for life, and, as with any skill, practice is the key. Children should be encouraged to become better readers. Whether it is a book about building bridges, a favorite athlete, a magazine about cool cars or a funny comic book, reading for at least 30 minutes a day will keep your child on the road to becoming a lifelong reader. Writing should be part of the summer, too. Encourage your child to keep a summer journal and write a diary entry enumerating the details of the day.
Performance , expression and cooperation are important life skills that extend far beyond the confines of the classroom. Enroll your child for summer theatre programmes such as Atelier Summer Dream Theatre Program, Sriram Centre Of Performing Arts and National School Of Drama.
So let’s bring out the creativity in each our children this Summer!
