Prime Minister’s Address on Teachers’ Day
To mark Teachers’ Day, on Friday, 5 September, 2014, the Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi interacted with hundreds of school children at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. The PM’s speech and interaction was webcast live to K.R Mangalam World School, G.K-II. Befitting arrangements were made in the Junior Library and the Multi Purpose Hall of the school to showcase the interaction of the PM. The venues were packed full house as the students waited for the webcast with bated breath.
The PM spoke about developing skills based on industry requirement, economy, employment and climate change while responding to the questions of the children. The venues resonated with applauds and cheers with every question being answered. Brimming with enthusiasm and excitement, the students of KR Mangalam World School acknowledged the speech which culminated with words of advice to the teachers and students to live life to its fullest.
The interaction was refreshing, lively and healthy and an apt medium to connect with India’s youth power.
