An accomplished educationist with a career spanning almost two decades, our Principal Mrs. Jyoti Gupta brims with creative vivacity and a tireless zeal.

Mrs. Gupta embarked on her professional voyage as a member of the D.P.S fraternity in the year 1988. Her long and enriching association with the D.P.S family, spanning almost two decades    – 1988-2008- saw her blossom as a teacher par excellence and an able and efficient administrator. Mrs. Gupta has served the D.P.S group in various capacities including, Head Mistress, Vice Principal and Principal. Her longest stint was with D.P.S Vasant kunj where she took on the mantle of Head of the Department, Computer Science and Vice Principal respectively. Her foresight and leadership skills propelled the school to greater heights of excellence.

Mrs. Gupta became a proud member of K. R. Mangalam fraternity in the 2009-2010 academic session. A reservoir of vibrant dynamism and focus - which is rare to find in today’s times-she infused a new life and vitality into K. R. Mangalam, Gk-II within a few months of joining the Institute. Forever inspiring and guiding, she motivates the students and teachers, alike to push their limits and explore new frontiers. She has streamlined the school’s academic initiatives and supplemented the students’ knowledge with a plethora of information and opportunities. With her expertise in Computer Science, she has vociferously promoted the concept of Virtual school as an important tool for dissemination of information. Introduction of Yoga for all students  – including classes X and XII – reinforces her commitment to the holistic development of children. Mrs. Gupta has broadened the students’ horizons by introducing photography, Origami, Japanese language classes & Literary & Eco. Club in the school. She has facilitated visits by luminaries, educationists and cultural exponents to keep the students abreast of the times and to imbue them with a spirit of passion and excellence.     

 Under her able guidance the students have won laurels in realms as diverse as Literature, Dance and sports.

Mrs. Gupta is of the firm belief that globalization demands an expansion of one’s boundaries to assimilate the best that the world offers. To address the same, she actively promotes international exchange programs .She was recently invited by the Australian High commission to join a team of leading academicians who visited Australia to gain insight into the Australian education system. She has furthered the school’s commitment to International ties by initiating an exchange program with Germany.

Mrs. Gupta conducted CCE workshops in Vishakhapatnam & Indore as a CBSE master trainer. Her zeal & meticulous planning regarding the implementation of CCE in KRM, Gk-II has been much admired.
