Vice Principal's Profile
A hard-core academician, our Vice Principal, Mrs. Renu Jain, has traversed an illustrious career spanning 28 years. Her journey is embellished with responsibilities and awards, which are shining examples of her commitment and caliber.
An expert in Accountancy and Business Studies, Mrs. Jain has been a teacher par excellence. Embarking on her professional journey from St. Thomas School, she moved on to D.P.S R.K Puram in April 1997. Her competence and caliber saw her being designated H.O.D Accountancy at R.K Puram.
Her teaching career is replete with handling several important responsibilities. She has successfully essayed the role of Head Examiner, C.B.S.E class XII Accountancy exam, and Examination Superintendent, class XII Boards. Her subject competence saw her being nominated as a member of the C.B.S.E curriculum committee for Accountancy and Business Studies. She is the proud recipient of the Best result Award for the years 1992 and 2003 respectively. Under her able guidance and tutelage, one of her students emerged as the All India Topper in the 2004 C.B.S.E Accountancy exam.
She has been a pillar of commitment and determination in her present capacity as Vice Principal, a responsibility she was assigned in 2006. Forever brimming with energy, she is an inspiration for teachers and students alike. Multi-tasking comes naturally to Mrs. Jain, who is seen effortlessly attending to myriad responsibilities with the same zeal throughout the day – be it administrative issues, student queries or teacher concerns. Her tenacity and diligence has immensely contributed to the smooth functioning of the institution.
A strong advocate of academic discipline and diligence, she has ensured maintenance of the highest academic standards by the school. A cent percent result achieved by the school, since its inception, is but proof of her guidance and commitment. Mrs. Jain is of the firm belief that academic discipline translates into discipline in other spheres of life as well. ‘Learning must be sought with ardor and attended to with diligence’ is her advice to the students.
