On the eve of Republic Day, K. R. Mangalam World School, GK II celebrated its sports day on a colourful note The event commenced with a march past and patriotic songs. Shri. Subhas Khuntia graced the occasion as the chief guest. Later there was a state wise presentation of Tableaux of Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu and Punjab, representing the eminent personalities of the states and mirroring their folk dances along with the industries. In the presence of the school principal Ms. Jyoti Gupta, the vice principal Ms. Renu Jain,the forever supporting parents and the honourable chief guest, the tri colour balloons were released in the air, symbolic of the school’s vision of soaring high with true spirit of camaraderie and catholicity of mind. Food stalls of the four states were put up to let the gathering savour the diverse cuisines of the respective states. A vibrant dance performance marked the grand finale. It was a cherishable event recognizing athletic talent and celebrating India’s diversity.
