VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS/WORK EXPERIENCE, CLASSES VI-VIII
In the month of April , 2015 the students of classes VI to VIII performed various interesting activities during their VPA/ Work Experience classes.
At the cooking front, students learnt to make Mojito and cheese peanut sandwich. Students also tried their hands on choco fruit bonanza, sprouts , chat, macaroni vegetable mix salad, Kalakand etc.
In western music, the students did vocal exercises and learnt a song: Teach your children well.
Practice of Vocals was done in classes VI & VII .Introduction to instruments was carried out in class VIII followed by the introduction of the song ‘When You say nothing at all’ .
Students played drums, guitar, congo, keyboard with the songs.
Students learnt various songs like Udaan, Saare Jahan se Acha in Indian Music. Students in Western Dance practiced their street jazz routine on the song ‘POP’ by nsync, Jazz song Hollywood by Michael Jackson and somebody to love by Justin Bieber respectively
In Best out of Waste Activity, students made different items like pen holders, carry bags, windmill, decorative items with ice cream sticks etc. They also made pencil holders with used bangles.
